Product Performance Highlights
What Makes This Tilt and Turn Window Different
Frame Colours and Finishes for Tilt and Turn Windows
The frame finish shapes the overall look of the window. Windows Tech offers classic colours, timber inspired finishes, and Aludec metallic tones to suit different interiors, exteriors, and architectural styles.
Classic Colours
Tropical offers a crisp white finish similar to RAL 9016, while Creme provides a softer tone similar to RAL 9001. Both suit light facades and neutral interiors.
Timber Inspired Finishes
Sheffield Oak Concrete creates a cooler contemporary look. Turner Oak Malt, Turner Oak Toffee, and Turner Oak Walnut add warmer timber character without the upkeep of traditional timber frames.
Aludec Metallic Finishes
Jet Black and Anthracite Grey create a bold architectural finish. DB703, Basalt Grey, Umbra Grey, and Window Grey offer more understated metallic tones, while Traffic White and Surfmist provide lighter options.
How tilt and turn windows work

A tilt and turn window uses one handle to move between three positions: closed, tilted, and fully open.
Closed Position
The sash seals tightly into the frame, helping reduce draughts, outside air, noise, and heat transfer.
Tilt Position
The top opens inward for controlled airflow while the bottom stays secured, making it useful for daily ventilation.
Turn Position
The sash opens fully inward from the side for stronger airflow and easier cleaning from inside the home.

Built for Comfort, Control, and Everyday Use
Tilt and turn windows are designed to make your home easier to ventilate, quieter to live in, and more comfortable through changing Melbourne conditions.
Controlled Ventilation
Tilt mode lets fresh air in without fully opening the window. This is useful in bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas where you want airflow without leaving a wide opening.
Better Indoor Comfort
uPVC frames and insulated glass help reduce heat transfer through the window system. With the right configuration, Windows Tech tilt and turn windows can slash power bills by up to 50 percent by reducing heating and cooling loss.
Less Outside Noise
Suitable glazing and proper sealing can reduce outside noise by 70 to 90 percent. This can make a noticeable difference if your home is near traffic, trains, schools, neighbours, or busy streets.
Easier Cleaning Access
Turn mode opens the sash inward, so you can clean the outside glass from inside your home. This is especially useful for upper floors, apartments, townhouses, and hard to reach windows.
Stronger Sealing
Tilt and turn windows close tightly into the frame, helping reduce draughts, rattling, and unwanted air movement. Better sealing supports comfort, acoustic control, and energy performance.
BAL 40 Fire Rating and German Hardware
Windows Tech tilt and turn windows are BAL 40 fire rating certified and use corrosion proof German hardware for smooth operation, durability, and reliable everyday use.
